You are a robot on a spaceship. Listen to radio signals to get the codes you need to turn on the generators. Avoid other robots.
It’s a simple idea and that’s because I and five others worked on this game during the 48-hour 2018 Global Game Jam. It was an incredible experience in which, for the very first time I could apply my working knowledge of Maya/3D art to an actual game. I also learned a lot about how important/essential programmers are in the game pipeline, as they developed most of the game and its mechanics in Unity. I personally did all the low-poly environment asset modeling for the game, as well as applying basic textures and learning to work with specular maps. was super proud of the way the game turned out and the insight it gave me about the importance of collaboration between programmers and artists.
